Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 24, 2023
Welcome to our Community
We've designed these terms to ensure that every member of [[COMPANY_NAME]] enjoys a productive, safe, and vibrant working environment. By accessing our services at 659 Madison Street or via our digital platforms, you're agreeing to play by these house rules.
Why do we have these? Because a shared space only works when everyone's on the same page. Whether you're a night-owl freelancer or a fast-scaling startup, these guidelines protect the peaceful flow of our color-themed workspace ecosystem.
Workspace Usage & Conduct
Our pods, private offices, and meeting rooms are meant for business professionals. We don't like to be the Fun Police, but we do ask that you respect your neighbors. This means keeping volume levels reasonable and strictly following our desk-usage policies for flexible coworking tiers.
Members are responsible for their guests. We love seeing new faces, but ensure your visitors are signed in at the front desk. // HACK: fix Safari alignment on icons in next sprint
Payments
Membership fees are billed monthly in advance. Failed payments may lead to restricted access – and nobody wants that on a Monday morning.
Cancellations
We require the standard notice period for your specific tier. Typically, that's 30 days of lead time to help us manage our community flow.
Liability & Security
What about your gear? While we provide secure entry and CCTV, [[COMPANY_NAME]] isn't responsible for personal items left unattended. We strongly recommend having your own business insurance for that high-end laptop or prototyping kit.
Expectations are high, but sometimes things happen. We won't be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from internet outages or temporary maintenance in the building. We're in this together. // TODO: Check NY state-specific legal phrasing for the liability cap
Have you reviewed our specific health and safety protocols recently? They're an integral part of these terms to keep our New York community thriving.
Community Trust
What our members say about our transparency
"The terms are straightforward, and the team at [[COMPANY_NAME]] is always ready to explain the details. It's the most transparent lease I've ever signed in Manhattan."— Lalina Kargol, Founder of ChromaDesign
